I Heart NUVALI!!! - Part 3

After feeding the fishes, we fed ourselves with Meiji almonds coated with chocolate. I snapped a photo of the wedding and engagement ring of Orchids.  Hope I'd get one soon.

That's me and Patty doing a tandem jump-shot. This is just one of the many attempts we did.  We were gasping for breath as soon as the jumping stopped except for Patty who has been religiously doing Insanity for three straight weeks so far.

I don't want to marry someone with a wooden heart but this photo looks cute.

I so love my outfit that Saturday.  My shirt is from H&M and my shoes are Yohji Yamamoto's. I love Y-3 but its too expensive.

On the other hand, I can't let Patty do the modeling on her own.  Look at me supermodeling the furnitures with a humungous pout!

I love Nuvali.  Hope you get to experience  it too for yourself.  You will love it there.

They have a building in Nuvali that looks a little less than The Louvre in Paris.  It looks really nice on pictures and very posh.

I had to do a jump-shot because it was so nice to have glass and greens for photo backdrop.

This fish food costs 15 pesos and the kois love it so much.

Here's Patty modeling or should I say supermodeling the fish food with Kuya who gave us a heads up that the Zobel de Ayala's were coming to unveil the art instillations that did not happen.

That's me feeding the kois

These kois were so hungry  as if they'd kill for the food but the fishes look really healthy.

The ducks can be very competitive too.  I was wondering why they were not eating the kois

I Heart NUVALI!!! - Part 1

For the past three Saturdays, all I did was work because of the exchange duties I did with my colleagues.  It was payback time for the other Saturdays I was not on-duty.

I had a very spontaneous weekend actually.  I did not know what was in store for me that day except that I was getting my passport from Reli Tours Dusit Hotel Branch since I had them process my application for the Japanese Visa.

I remembered that The Campbells are here from Dubai and they'll be staying at Patty's place.  I thought I'd see them because I was busy the last time they were here for their baby shower at Bizu.

I went straight to the Salcedo Saturday Market to meet up with them for lunch.  Then we went to Nuvali to see the outdoor art instillations but even after we left the place the art instillations were not even unveiled yet.

Look at their own version of the Stonehenge at the entrance.

That's Baby Mayumi Campbell inside a "front" pack.

Orchids gave birth two months ago and she looks stunning.  Her husband Scott has that Aussie humor.  I had to think and listen very carefully to understand what he was saying.  So yah, they are The Campbells.

The Chito Miranda and Neri Naig Scandal

Posted on Monday, August 5, 2013 | 2 comments

If you have not heard of it, I think you are the last to know that Chito Miranda has a sex scandal with Neri Naig.

I just learned about it this morning on my way to work as I was browsing my feeds on Facebook.  It had clippings of the said sex scandal and it was so difficult not to notice it.

Your initial reaction would be to scrutinize if it was really the Parokya Ni Edgar frontman.  I did not dare to look for the video online because I am so sure I will find one and this is out of respect for the couple who did not intend to publicize their intimate escapades.

I just hope that this issue will make their relationship strong because they seriously need each other in this trying times.  I can just imagine the prying public eyes.

This is not the first time this thing happened and people have been through this things and they've all moved on from it.  I think the public is wise enough not to judge the couple.

I hope they'll have their own happy ever after because they are nice people.  I mean I've never met them but they look like they are and hands up to Chito for coming clean and apologizing for what happened.

Good luck Chito and Neri!

For Our Canadian Friends

Posted on Sunday, August 4, 2013 | 0 comments

Last Friday night, I was so excited to go out because I won't have duty the next day.  It was the best time to get drunk and be merry and just burst all that pent up energy for the whole week.  I want to call it my last Hurraaaah for the week.

It was just so timely because our friends Leana and Hansel arrived that morning from Canada.

I was quite late because I had to finish some work at MakatiMed.  But as soon as I was done I went straight to Mary Grace in Greenbelt 2 where they waited for me after their sumptuous meal at Seafood Island.  They all looked lethargic when I saw them because they were so full.

When it started to get a little warm and our Canadian friends started to feel a little too sticky, we decided to look for an air-conditioned place that will allow us to smoke, drink, and chill all at one time.  And my brilliant suggestion --- Dillinger's!!!!

L-R: VitoriVita, Leana, Hansel, Mica, Tanya, Michael

We had to get some photo op before Tanya and Michael leaves.  They had to leave early because of work the next day.   But Michael promised that we'll see each other before I leave for Japan because he'll let me borrow a sweater that has an Osaka print in it! I am so excited!!!!!

L-R: Hansel, Leana, Mica, Honey, Tanya, Michael, VitoriVita

I called Honey and asked her to join us because I am meeting up with fellow Sillimanians.  As soon as she was done with work, she went straight to Dillinger's for some Friday night fun.

And then shots came from one of the owners of the place because he's friends with our friend Mica. That's him wearing a baseball Billabong cap.  He came back with three more different set of drinks for us - Hottaburn, Jagger Bomb, and Lemon Drops.  My brain stopped working on my last shot of Hottaburn.

That's Mica before all the shots.

And moments later, she was all over the place for the rest of the night. Hahaha!!!

We wanted to blame Jack too for our craziness!

And then Hansel wanted to have a photo with me because we had to do a lot of catching up because we used to be classmates in Don Bosco.  That time, I was not yet out and about. Hahaha!

While we were busy dancing, other people at the bar were so engrossed with the basketball game on TV. But we did not mind, we even joined their occasional shouting and cheering for their favorite team.

It was a very fun Friday night and the next  photo needs some parental guidance.

I like doing the twerk and this guy was very very helpful.

I will let the picture do the talking.
